Scholastic Book Orders

Scholastic Book Clubs offer parents a convenient and rather inexpensive way to purchase books for their children.   The classroom also benefits each time you order.  I will receive bonus points, which I use to purchase books for classroom use. Flyers will be sent home approximately one time per month via your child's Friday Folder.  You may purchase books via the classroom or you may order online.  If you order via the classroom, you must send in a check made out to Scholastic Book Clubs.  If you choose to order online, you will create your own username and password.  You will be able to use a credit card if you choose this option.  There are also additional books and offers available online, and I receive an additional classroom bonus for each online order.   Participation is strictly voluntary.    Books make great birthday, holiday gifts, therefore If you would like me to notify you when books you have ordered have been delivered rather than send them home with your child, please let me know at the time of your order!

www.spellingcity.com.   This website offers great spelling word practice in a variety of different ways. After going to the website, click on “Find a list”. Then you click “Search by: Teacher” and type in “Lynn Johnson”. Click on “Lynn Johnson @ St. Michael Catholic School” and my page will open.  I have the spelling lists organized by story.  The name of the story will be given on the “Peek at the Week” each week. Enjoy!
