St. Michael Catholic School formally opened on October 2, 1876 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame. The school began with 15 children and during the winter months attendance grew to 120 children. Pictured above is the original school that was built in 1899.

Today, our enrollment of over 310 students, boasts three sections of all day every day kindergarten.  We also have three sections of third grade and two sections of grades one and two and fourth through sixth.

St. Michael Catholic School is committed to assisting parents in the faith formation of children and educating them to be responsible, faith-filled, contributing citizens.
